Cham cham or chum chum, a dessert in Bangladesh and India.(Bengali: চমচম) is a traditional Bengali sweet originated from Porabari, Tangail, Bangladesh. It is a very popular dessert in Bangladesh and India. The cuisine comes in a variety of colors, mainly light pink, light yellow, and white. It is coated with coconut flakes as a garnish. The sweet is oval and brownish.Bangladesh, has been famous for chomchom for 150 years. Indian famous sweet, cham cham aka chum chum is Bengali sweet easy to make at home with milk. An easy recipe of Indian sweet cham cham. This dessert has firm texture from outside and stuffed with delicious cream. Chum chum mithai is made with fresh chenna and pressure cooked in thick sugar syrup. This sweet cham cham can be served after breakfast/lunch/dinner. Ingredients :-

For Dough of ChumChum :

1 cups of homemade chana
3 tbsp of cornflour
1 tsp of beaking powder
Food colour

For sugar syrup :
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
cardamom 3-4 pic

For Garnering :
Dark mawa/khaya 1/2 cup
peanuts / pistachio crushed
