A patti roll (sometimes spelt patti roll; Bengali: পাঠি রোল is a street-food dish originating from Kolkata, India. In its original form, it is a skewer-roasted kebab wrapped in a paratha bread, although over the years many variants have evolved all of which now go under the generic name of patti beef roll/ triangle roll. Today, mostly any wrap containing a filling enfolded in an Indian flatbread (roti) is called a PATTI BEEF ROLL/ TRIANGLE ROLL. In native Bengali, the word Patti roughly translates to “chess board structure ”, referring to how they were originally made. In Bengal though, the delicacy is simply known as ROLL. PATTI BEEF RROLL/ TRIANGLE ROLL normally contain coriander chutney, egg and chicken but the types may vary.But in the recipe we used beef filling... you can add chicken / vegetables or any others types of filling for this recipe....
so lets start to make PARRT BEEF ROLL / TRIANGLE ROLL recipe.......
ingredients:
For dough:
All purpose flour 2 cups
carom seed 1 tsp
beaking powder 1/2
cooking oil 2 tbsp
FOR FILLING : you can add any types of filling... otherwise check this link
